Birgit is our nutritionist since Fit ‘n’ Tasty began ! She helped us make all of our recipes and showed us the best detox ingredients to use. We still consult her all the time for new recipes and tips. She is now our latest ambassador on our program although she was already half way in the Fit ‘n’ Tasty team ! Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I have always had a n unconditional love for real foods, those who have taste and make me feel good. It is naturally that I started having interest for healthy eating and my holisitic coach certification has given me confidence. I follow my clients through their own personal research about nutrition and help them find what suits them best while covering their nutritional needs. I love hosting cooking classes, helping my clients while grocery shopping and being their inspiration for their healthy lifestyle. This lifestyle also includes the pleasure of eating and preparing colourful and delicious meals. Healthy eating is primarily getting pleasure from nourishing ones body well !

What will we always find in your fridge/pantry?

A lot of seasonal vegetables, fruits, chia seeds, a lot of seeds actually ! Legumes, a few superfoods like berries and spirulina, and spices, I love spices !

What will we never find in your fridge/pantry?

Processed meals and ready made, sugary desserts, meat from animal who have four legs. I eat poultry and fish but on occasion, not more than once a week. I always make sure that these animals come from a natural breeding farms and that garanties them a good life !

What is your workout routine like? How often do you workout and what exercises are your favorites?

4 times a week, my routine is very varied. I do cardio and HIIT combined with weight training, sessions with my coach Patricia Soave from wellnessattitude.com and I also enjoy walking and biking as well as swimming in summer.

Can you share a recipe with us?

My favorite paleo breakfast:

2 tbsp of flax seeds (ground), 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp of any healthy nuts (either pumpkin seeds, nuts, almonds etc) 1 tbsp of coconut shreds, 1 tbsp of hemp seed powder, 1 fruit, 200ml of plant milk. Healthy fats, plant protein and fruits: the best foods to prepare my body for adventure !
