A little bowl of delicious green beans please
You may already have seen or eaten these little green beans in a Japanese restaurant, served in little pots sprinkled with salt as an appetizer. These almost fluorescent green beans are the perfect boost me up snack. Plus they have so many health benefits!
Did you know that edamame are naturally gluten-free and super low in calorie? They are perfect for the health as they contain no cholesterol but are loaded with proteins, iron and calcium!
- 100 g edamame
Boil water in a large pan and salt generously. Add the edamame and cook them until they turn bright green (almost fluorescent) for 3 to 5 minutes.
Drain the edamame
With a small spoon sprinkle them with thick sea salt. Eat hot, or cold both are absolutely delicious! Enjoy!
