Fit ‘n’ Tasty Açai Bowl

Smoothie:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp açai powder
  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 5 frozen strawberries
  • two handfulls of frozen blueberries

Toppings:

  • Raw cacao nibs
  • Mulberries
  • Goji berries
  • Fresh raspberries and blueberries

Tastespace‘s açaï energy bars

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup almonds
  • 3/4 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup dried apricots (or mango)
  • 2 teaspoons raisins
  • 3 teaspoons açaï powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla exctract
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor (with its S blade) and blend until dough has formed. If too crumbly, just add some water until it comes out well.
  • Place a sheet of plastic wrap on a flat surface and place dough in the middle. Mold dough into a cylinder and wrap tightly with the plastic wrap. Allow to refrigerate at least an hour, before cutting into smaller pieces!
